The Daniel Boone National Forest is home to lakes, rivers and streams where boating and swimming are enjoyed year round.
Swimming is allowed in most of the forest waterways except in areas posted as closed for protection of wildlife species or around developed areas such as boat ramps and marinas.
You must comply with all regulations established Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources.
Commercial outfitters or guides and groups of 75 people or more must obtain a Special Use permit.
