Location: Approximately three miles northwest of the City of South Lake Tahoe, California, on the lake side of Highway 89. If you're driving north on Highway 89 from South Lake Tahoe, make a right turn just past the Tallac Historic Site. If you're driving south on Highway 89 from Truckee or Tahoe City, make a left turn just past Baldwin Beach.

The visitor center buildings are typically open beginning Memorial Day weekend through the end of October.

Location: Approximately three miles northwest of the City of South Lake Tahoe, California, on the lake side of Highway 89. If you're driving north on Highway 89 from South Lake Tahoe, make a right turn just past the entrance to Valhalla. If you're driving south on Highway 89 from Truckee or Tahoe City, make a left turn just past the entrance to the Taylor Creek Visitor Center.
