Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest Campground Prospectus

The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is accepting applications for a concession campground offering that includes 29 campgrounds and 7 group campgrounds. Upon completion of the prospectus process, a special uses permit will be issued to the selected proponent to provide high-quality public service in the operation and maintenance of government-owned recreation facilities located on the Mt. Baker, Darrington, Skykomish and Snoqualmie Ranger Districts.


Applications submitted in response to this Prospectus are subject to cost recovery pursuant to 36 CPR 251.58 (c)(3)(iii). Applicants must submit an application fee of $400.00 to cover the cost of the Prospectus and review of the application. Additionally, the selected applicant will be responsible for the cost of preparing and issuing the permit and conducting a Financial Ability Determination (FAD), unless the Forest Service has conducted a FAD on the applicant within the past year. Payments due the United States for this application must be paid in the form of a bank draft, money order, or cashier's check payable to the USDA Forest Service.


Complete applications (with fee payable to the USDA Forest Service) must be submitted to Jamie Kingsbury, Forest Supervisor, Attention: Dave Redman, 2390 Wetmore Avenue, Suite 3, Everett, Washington 98201-4044. Applications must be received by close of business (4:30 p.m.) on October 6, 2017.
