The White Mountain National Forest headquarters in Campton, New Hampshire, was dedicated in October 2009. The campus-style facility is home to the Forest Supervisor's Office and the Pemigewasset Ranger District. Two other Forest Ranger District offices are located in Gorham and Conway, New Hampshire.

Summer hours: Open 7 days a week starting one week before Memorial Day ending 2 weeks after Columbus Day. Daily hours are 9 am to 3:30 pm.

This information center has a full interpretive display that provides a history of the Forest and its evolution over time. The center was developed using the Smithsonian guidelines for accessibility, and has tactile, hands-on displays as well as an audio-described tour. Staff are available to provide information and suggestions on short hikes, campgrounds, and other activities and programs. Restrooms are also available.

Located 5 miles east of Lincoln, this site serves as the starting point for many activities, including hiking, cross-country skiing, and mountain biking. There is a parking area, visitor information cabin, trailhead for the Lincoln Woods Trail, a 180 foot suspension bridge, and flush toilet facilities, all of which are wheelchair accessible. Also, the pedestrian walkway on the highway bridge on the Kancamagus Byway, which offers views up the East Branch of the Pemigewasset River, is accessible from the parking area.
