Museum Tours Have ended for the season
Our museum tours have ended for the winter season. Please check back Spring of 2026 for the museum tour schedule.
However, free visitor films are offered in the Baitbox from 10:00am to 3:00pm weather permitting. Pedestrian gates are open from sun-up to sundown for extended access to our amazing trails.

For our 2026 season, Tours of the mansion are considered an expanded amenity fee. As an expanded amenity area, cardholders of any of the America the Beautiful National Parks & Federal Recreational Lands Passes are offered a 50% discount for the cardholder only.

2026 Group Tours:
We would love to have your group of 10 or more visit Grey Towers NHS. We are great place for family to reunite and organizations to get together to learn about the history of the Pinchot family, US Forest Service and the museum at Grey Towers. Please make sure to reach out so we can facilitate your group and help plan an amazing visit.

Museum Must Know's Before You Go
The walkway from the parking lot to the mansion is approximately 350 yards uphill and mimics the original carriageway. Please enjoy the views, watch your step, and take your time as you walk towards the mansion.
All backpacks, bags (including baby and camera bags) larger then 11x17, strollers, tripods, food and liquids (including water bottles) are prohibited inside the museum. There are no storage lockers located at Grey Towers NHS and prohibited items cannot be left unattended outside of the museum. To ensure a pleasant visit please plan accordingly.
