Forest Service Partners with Military to Bring Career Opportunities to Veterans

USDA Forest Service has partnered with the U.S. Army, Fort Drum, to bring career opportunities to Fort Drum veterans. This internship program, Veterans Conservation Corps, has been designed for active duty military interested in working for the Forest Service and that are within 180 days of their termination date from the service. Through this internship, service members have the opportunity to gain experience and skills in recreation, forestry, biology, forest engineering, fire, law enforcement, as well as working with state and other conservation agencies. Choose your next path with the Forest Service.
