 Interpretation Guide

Table mountain pine is very narrowly distributed (southern Appalachian spine, 0.3% of area), sparse among FIA plots, and has low IV where found. These factors result in a low reliable model. We present a slight decrease in suitable habitat under RCP 4.5 (no change in RCP 8.5), and a high adaptability score, but because of uncertainty in the model and very low abundance we can only give a fair (RCP 8.5) to poor (RCP 4.5) capability score. SHIFT shows negligible migration.
