Educators

A variety of materials and programs are available for you to use in the classroom or outdoors, to engage kids in learning more about forest environments. Educational trunks, environmental education curriculum, DVD's on selected topics, Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl visits, field trip ideas, and opportunities for guest speakers are a few of the available resources our national forests and grasslands. Contact your local office to inquire about their educational resources available.

Natural Inquirer

Natural Inquirer is a website offering free science education material for student in pre-kindergarten through high school. The goal of Natural Inquirer is to stimulate critical reading and thinking about scientific inquiry and investigation while teaching about ecology, the natural environment, and natural resources.
