Cody

Cody is the location of the Shoshone National Forest Supervisor's Office at 808 Meadow Lane Avenue.

The Clarks Fork, Greybull, and Wapiti Ranger Districts are administered from the ranger district office at 203A Yellowstone Avenue.

The city of Cody, Wyoming, was founded in 1896 by William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody. Cody is located about 50 miles from the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

The Buffalo Bill Historical Center, which houses five museums under one roof; the Buffalo Bill Dam; the Wild Sheep Foundation; Old Trail Town; and the historic Irma Hotel are just a few of Cody's attractions.

Directions

Cody is located in northwest Wyoming about 30 miles from the border with Montana and about 50 miles east of Yellowstone National Park. Cody is accessed by U S Highways 14/16/20 and State Highway 120.
