Eagle Creek Trailhead

Eagle Creek Trailhead is one of the more popular trailheads for horse use along the North Fork of the Shoshone River.  Trails leading from this area can take you into the North Absaroka Wilderness.

General Information

Special Order 04-00-104 related to food storage and sanitation applies. Weed free hay or cubes are required. Camping at the Eagle Creek Trailhead is limited to hard-sided camping units only and to people with saddle and/or pack stock. Due to grizzly bear activity, tents and pop-up campers are not allowed. Dispersed campfires are not permitted at Eagle Creek Trailhead.
