Travel Management on the Canjilon, El Rito, and Tres Piedra Ranger Districts (West-side)
The Forest Supervisor signed a Decision Notice & FONSI on Dec 2, 2010. The decision includes changes to the transportation system and amends the Carson National Forest's Land and Resource Management Plan. The decision was appealed & affirmed, with the exception of 7 mi of undetermined road segments that were to be added to the system. A more site-specific analysis of these segments & a new NEPA decision must be completed, prior to their inclusion on the Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM).
