McGaffey Lake
McGaffey Lake is a small reservoir in the Zuni Mountains at an elevation of approximately 8,000 feet. This reservoir provides fishing opportunities when the reservoir has water. Please refer to the New Mexico Fishing Rules and Information publication for all of the current fishing rules.

Directions
Take Exit 33 from I-40 east of Gallup, then drive south through Fort Wingate. Continue approximately 8.5 more miles on State Highway 400/County Road 50 to the lake.
