Mushroom harvesting on the Boise National Forest is currently for personal use only.

No permit is required to harvest mushrooms for personal use.

Individuals may harvest up to 5 gallons of mushrooms per person, per day.

Individuals may possess up to 10 gallons per person at any one time.

Mushrooms are used for non-commercial purposes and cannot be sold for profit.
