Crystal Creek--Gros Ventre Confluence Bio-Engineering Project
The Forest Service will relocate campground infrastructure to higher ground and install bioengineered bank stabilization treatments along the Gros Ventre Road. Bioengineered streambank restoration work will also occur adjacent to Crystal Creek Campground to protect the water system hand pump. Bioengineering involves planting native vegetation and placement of coarse woody debris log structures to provide streambank stability and aquatic habitat.
