Kendall Gravel Pit
A temporary Forest Service gravel pit would be developed to provide material for resurfacing the Union Pass and Green River Lakes Roads. The pit would be reclaimed at the end of the road project. Extra material would be crushed and a long-term gravel stockpile would remain within the Kendall Guard Station administrative site for the purpose of ongoing road maintenance. The crushing operation would be accomplished either by contract with a commercial operator or via agreement with Sublette County Road & Bridge Department. The gravel pit would be about 7 acres and located adjacent to Kendall Guard Station.
