Labarge Vegetation Restoration
This project would use a combination of mechanical treatments and prescribed fire to improve the health of forested stands, salvage dead and dying trees for economic value and wood products, enhance wildlife habitat, reduce fuels, and remove hazard trees along roads. It also would add six miles of existing routes to the national forest transportation system needed for current and future forest management. This project is subject to the predecisional administrative review (objection) process. The Environmental Assessment and draft Decision Notice and FONSI are available for review. Objections may be submitted to objections-intermtn-regional-office@fs.fed.us by 7/6/2015.
