Bridges Campground

This is located in beautiful Huntington Canyon, along the Huntington Canyon National Scenic Byway on Utah Highway 31. It is situated at an elevation of approximately 8,700 feet. Many recreational activities are available, including hiking, biking, scenic driving, and fishing.

This is a "pack it in, pack it out" site so all garbage must be removed upon departure. There are fire rings, grills, picnic tables and group sites have dutch oven pans.

Many recreational activities are available, including hiking, biking, scenic driving, and fishing. Sites may be booked at Recreation.Gov through late September.

General Information

The canyon area has numerous lakes and streams, vibrant summer wildflowers, colorful fall foliage, and abundant wildlife. Popular activities include fishing, hunting, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, rock climbing, and scenic driving. The six-mile Left Fork of the Huntington National Recreation Trail, for hiking and horses, is nearby, as is the 10-mile Fish Creek Trail, for hiking, biking, and horses.

Passes do not cover group sites.

  • Reservations must be made at least four days in advance.
  • No ATVs allowed in campground (see Forest Camping and Travel Rules in Quick Links at right)
  • No livestock allowed in the campground but there are two hitching rails 20' across the highway.

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $5 per night (1 vehicle included per site)
Double Site: $5 per night (1 vehicle included per site)
Group Site: $45 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $10 per night

Directions

From Huntington, Utah head northwest on Hwy. 31 for approximately 21 miles. The campsite is 1/2 mile past Old Folks Flat Campground and will be on the right hand side of the road.
