Ephraim to Orangeville Road

This is a two part experience: from Skyline Drive to Joes Valley and Orangeville, and from Ephraim to Skyline Drive. The drive to Orangeville will take you from high meadows at the skyline, through stands of aspen and conifer, past Joes Valley Reservoir and to the broad open plain of Castle Valley. Driving from Ephraim to Skyline Drive, you will climb 5000 feet in 15 miles. Along the way are interpretive displays explaining the unique scientific work that began in Ephraim Canyon and continues today at the Great Basin Experiemental Range.
