Ant Basin Trail #324
The Ant Basin Trail is just under a mile and connects the end of FSR #079 to the Rapid River Ridge Trail #178. It also forms a loop with the Ant Basin South Trail #519, FSR #1254, and a portion of FSR #079.

Directions
Travel north from New Meadows on Hwy 95 to Smokey Boulder Road. Turn west and go about 13 miles. Turn right onto Ant Butte Road and continue north for 6 miles. Take the left branch onto FSR #1254 and continue 1 mile to the trailhead.
