Big Meadow Trailhead

Big Meadow is located in Meiss Country on the south end of the Lake Tahoe Basin. Big Meadow Trailhead serves as an entrance to the Tahoe Rim Trail and boasts breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe, Hope Valley and the Carson Valley. Seasonal Parking; No Restrooms/Trash Service in Winter; Campfires (wood, charcoal or other solid fuels) are not permitted at the Trailhead nor in Desolation Wilderness; No Camping or Overnighting at the Trailhead
