Camp Richardson Corral

Camp Richardson Corral and Pack Station are located on National Forest lands on the south shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe. The corral is operated under a special use permit from the USDA Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit. The address is 4 Emerald Bay Road (Highway 89) and the corral is located approximately three miles northwest of the City of South Lake Tahoe.

Owned by the Ross family since 1934, Camp Richardson Corral offers scenic guided horseback rides, steak dinner rides, summer hay wagon rides, pony rides, and authentic winter sleigh rides (weather permitting) near Historic Camp Richardson Resort. From South Lake Tahoe: Take Highway 89 northwest approximately three miles to the corral, which is located across the highway from Camp Richardson on the west side to the RV Campground.

From Tahoe City: Take Highway 89 south approximately 19 miles to the corral, which is located across the highway from Camp Richardson on the west side to the RV Campground.
