Walker Fire Recovery Project
Remove fire-killed and fire-injured trees to recover the economic value and manage fuel loading over the short- and long-term. Construct or repair water drafting locations and construct temporary roads, landings, and skid trails. This project is associated with an Emergency Situation Determination (ESD). *Scoping materials were sent out April 3, 2020 and included the activities listed below that are no longer included in this project. These scoping materials are filed in Project Documents below, are included in the project record, and provide a snapshot for tracking purposes. **This project no longer includes site preparation, reforestation, and release; replacing wildlife guzzlers; or replacing fencing, water systems, and cattle guards within range allotments. The activities are included in the "Walker Fire REHABILITATION Project", categorical exclusion, PALS#58032)
