Conklin Park Campground

This nine unit campground is located approximately eight miles northwest of Frenchman Lake.  This is a quiet campground situated along a small creek. Vault toilets, tables, fire rings and food lockers are provided.  There is no water or garbage service. Pack out all trash.

Current Conditions
Scheduled to close for the season November 3, 2025. This campground sustained severe damage in the 2021 Dixie fire.

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $15 per night

 

$10 per night from May 23 through September 1, 2025. No services No fees the rest of the year.

Directions

From Portola head east on Highway 70 to Beckwourth.  Turn left on County Road 111 and proceed north for approximately nine miles to Forest Service Road 26N70.  Proceed approximately nine miles to campground.
