Drone Use

1. Do not fly any drone or Unmanned Aircraft System when wildfire or prescribed fire operations are being conducted (43 CFR 9212.1(f)). 
   1. Flying over trails, campgrounds, or other Forest user areas is prohibited.
      1. Drone use is prohibited from within Wilderness areas.
      2. Drone flights must occur during daylight hours, within line-of-sight of the pilot, and may not exceed 400' above ground level.
      3. You will need to provide:
         1. A completed Aviation Notice form
         2. A copy of the pilot's FAA certified pilot license
         3. The drone make and model
         4. The drone serial number
