Using any type of motorized vehicle on the National Forest System roads listed below and shown on the attached map (Exhibit A). For purposes of this Order, a wheelchair is not
considered to be a motorized wheeled vehicle.

Forest Order
Pursuant to 16 U.S.C. § 551 and 36 C.F.R. § 261.50(b), and to provide for public safety and to protect natural resources, the following act is prohibited within the Hume Lake Ranger District of the National Forest. This Order is effective from November 26, 2024, through May 31, 2025.
Using any type of motorized vehicle on the National Forest System roads listed below an shown on the attached map (Exhibit A). For purposes of this Order, a wheelchair is not considered to be a motorized wheeled vehicle.
a. Delilah Road (Forest Road No.12S19) from a point 2.0 miles northwest of its intersection with Davis Road (Forest Road No. 12S01) then north 5.7 miles to Sequoia National Forest boundary.
b. Dark Canyon Road (Forest Road No. 14S43);
c. Aspen Hollow Road (Forest Road No. 13S40, 13S40A);
d. Converse Road (Forest Road No. 13S07);
e. Converse Cut-off Road (Forest Road No. 13S50);
f. Camp 19 Road (Forest Road No. 13S46);
g. Big Whistle Road (Forest Road No. 13S45);
h. Pierce Valley Road (Forest Road No. 14S41) from the gate located approximately 0.1 mile south of Eshom Campground then south approximately 2.5 miles to i intersection with County Road 466;
i. Cherry Flat Road (Forest Road No. 15S01);
j. Cherry Flat Road (Forest Road No. 15S01A);
k. Eshom Creek Road (Forest Road No. 15S02);
l. Wortman Mill Road (Forest Road No. 14S34);
m. Camp 7 Road (Forest Road No. 13S05);
n. Horseshoe K.V. Camp Road (Forest Road No. 13S08);
o. Tenmile Creek Road (Forest Road No. 13S41). 36 C.F.R. § 261.54(a).
Pursuant to 36 C.F.R. § 261.50(e), the following persons are exempt from this Order:
1. Persons with Forest Service Permit No. FS-7700-48 (Permit for Use of Roads, Trails, or Restricted by Regulation or Order), specifically exempting them from this Order.
2. Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or fire-fighting force in the performance of an official duty.
This prohibition is in addition to the general prohibitions in 36 C.F.R. Part 261, Subpart A.
A violation of this prohibition is punishable by a fine of not more than $5,000 for an individual $10,000 for an organization, or imprisonment for not more than six months, or both. 16 U.S.C and 18 U.S.C. §§ 3559, 3571, and 3581.
