SAMPSON ALLOTMENT GRAZING PERMIT RENEWAL

The Sampson Grazing Allotment covers approximately 16,705 acres of National Forest System lands in the Hume Lake Ranger District of the Sequoia National Forest. Approximately half of this allotment lies within the Kings River Special Management Area and the Giant Sequoia National Monument. The purpose of this analysis is to reauthorize livestock grazing in this allotment in a manner consistent with the Forest Plan as amended, and to provide an Allotment Management Plan for the Sampson Allotment.
