Mill Flat Campground
Mill Flat Campground is situated at 1,100 feet elevation with five campsites on the Kings Wild and Scenic River. Rafting is popular in the river, with up to Class III rapids in the river. This campground is within Giant Sequoia National Monument. Trails in the monument are open to hikers, horses, and bikes (outside the wilderness areas). Unsuitable for trailers, no drinking water. Special food storage rule in effect in black bear country.
Campfire permits are required for campfires, barbeques, and camp stoves. Permits are available at your local Ranger Station or online at Campfire Permit - Ready for Wildfire.

From Fresno, go 47 miles east on CA 180, Piedra Road, 17 miles on Trimmer Springs Road (Forest Road 11S12), cross the river to the south, then go east on Davis Road (Forest Road 12S01).
