Forest Order 06-22-01-24-05: Occupancy and Use/Camping Restrictions
Starting September 30, 2024, and lasting through September 30, 2027 (unless lifted earlier), camping limits are in place on all National Forest lands managed by the Mt. Hood National Forest, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.
What’s Not Allowed:
1. Staying in one spot for more than 14 days in a row is not allowed.
2. Camping anywhere in these areas for more than 28 days total in a calendar year is also not allowed.
