Little Strawberry Trail #5003

This trail leads to Little Strawberry Lake. The lake is a scenic subalpine lake situated beneath a scenic rock wall. Wild flowers are regularly abundant. Visitors to the area will see numerous bird species, elk, deer, and mountain goats can be seen traversing the rock cliffs near the lake.

Follow the Strawberry Basin Trail #375 to the Little Strawberry Lake Trail cutoff.

Getting There

Directions

From the town of Prairie City, OR, turn onto South Main Street, follow to the junction with Bridge Street. Turn left onto Bridge Street again, then turn right at the junction with Bridge Street again. This road turns into County Road 60 after leaving city limits, follow County Road 60 approximately 8 miles the road then becomes Forest Service Road 6001, follow Forest Service Road 6001 approximately 2 miles to Strawberry Campground. From the campground take Strawberry Basin Trail #375 to the Little Strawberry Lake Trail cutoff.
