Walton Lake Group Campsites
Walton Lake Campground offers a variety of recreational opportunities, amenities, and a serene setting. There are 2 large group campsites at this facility that can accommodate 15-35 campers and 4 to 6 vehicles each. Both campsites come equipped with 3 picnic tables and 1 combination fire ring and grill. These designated group areas are ideal for large group gatherings and extended family reunions. To occupy one of these sites it must be reserved in advance through Recreation.gov.

Getting There
Directions
From Prineville, Oregon:
Travel approximately 15 miles east on Highway 26.
Turn right at the junction to Walton Lake and Big Summit Prairie (County Road 123).
Travel approximately 8 miles to the junction of Forest Service Road 22 and Forest Service Road 42.
Turn left onto Forest Service Road 22 and proceed approximately 7 miles to Walton Lake.
Walton Lake Campground will be on your left.
Enter the campground and take your first left to access the Group Camping area.
