The Olympic National Forest is currently experiencing a shortage in frontline staff. Calling or emailing an office directly is the quickest way to get an answer. We'll make every effort to respond quickly; however, it can take a few days. Thank you for your patience.

Effective July 20th, 2026, the Forest Supervisor's Office in Olympia will have reduced hours. 

Special forest product permits are available during regular open hours in Quinault. Call ahead day of to ensure permit availability in Olympia. No special forest product permits are currently avaialble in Quilcene. 

Olympic National Forest Offices

The Forks office is a two story building and it is made out of wood.
