Bogachiel Rain Forest River Trailhead

Provides access to: Bogachiel Rain Forest River Trail #825 and Ira Spring Wetland Trail which create a loop option. 

Features: Bulletin board for visitor information. 

 

General Information

Bogachiel Rain Forest Trail follows the Bogaciel River and enters Olympic National Park at 1.5 miles, where it becomes Bogachiel River Trail (No dogs allowed in Olympic National Park).

Year-round

You must obtain a wilderness permit at an Olympic National Park office for all overnight trips in the Park.

No fees are required for this site

Pets are allowed on leash on the Bogachiel Rain Forest Trail. Once inside the Olympic National Park at 1.5 miles, where it becomes the Bogachiel River Trail pets are prohibited. No pets are allowed in the Olympic National Park. 

The Forks office is a two story building and it is made out of wood.

Directions

From Forks, WA travel south on US Highway 101 for 5 miles then turn east on Undi Road, across from Bogachiel State Park, and proceed approximately two miles to the Undi Rd Bypass. Turn left (primitive road, all-wheel or four-wheel drive is best) and proceed approximately 1 mile, stay right and follow road another mile.  At stop sign turn to the left on FS Road 2932 and follow to trailhead.
