Forest Order

Pursuant to 16 USC § 551 and 36 CFR § 261.50(a) and (b), and to provide for public safety, the following acts are prohibited
upon trails and general forest areas within the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest as described below and shown in
Exhibit A. This Order is effective April 9th, 2025 and ending December 1st, 2025, unless rescinded sooner.

PROHIBITIONS:

1. Being on the closed road. [36 CFR § 261.54(e)]
2. Going into or being upon an area closed for the protection of public health and safety. [36 CFR § 261.53(e)]
3. Being on a closed trail. [36 CFR § 261.55(a)]

CLOSURE AREA
The area in which these prohibitions apply is described as an area within the following closure area boundary: starting at the southwest corner of T 33 S, R 4 E, Section 18, the closure area boundary follows the forest boundary north to its intersection with Forest Road 3775-800; then follows and includes Forest Road 3775-800 east to its intersection with Forest Road 3775-830; then follows and includes Forest Road 3775-830 north and east to its intersection with Forest Road 3775; from there, the closure area boundary follows but excludes Forest Road 3775 south to its intersection with the southern boundary of T 33 S, R 4 E, Section 17; and then follows the southern boundary of T 33 S, R 4E, Sections 17 and 18 west to the closure origin.
Section of FST 988 (South Fork Trail) with the above-described area is closed.
