Abbott Creek Campground

Abbott Creek Campground is a remote and picturesque campground in the midst of an old-growth forest and adjacent to Abbott Creek. This campground offers opportunities for fishing, swimming and hiking.  There are five OHV friendly campsites within the campground that allow for easy access to Prospect OHV Trail System.

The Upper Rogue River Trail may be accessed nearby at Woodruff Bridge Day Use Area.

General Information

Spring - Fall

Open 24 hours/day

  • Camping: Interagency Annual, Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age and Golden Access honored.
  • Max 35' trailer length
  • Quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
  • Fireworks are prohibited
  • Dogs must be on leash
  • Maximum length of stay: 14 days

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $14 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $6 per night
Day Use:
$5 per vehicle per day
$30 per annual

  • Camping: $15 /campsite/night
  • Extra Vehicle Fee: $5

Directions

From Medford, OR, take Highway 62 towards the town of Prospect, OR.  Continue on Highway 62 about 6.5 miles north of Prospect, OR. Turn north (left) on Forest Road 68 and continue about 3.5 miles to the entrance for Abbott Creek Campground to the west (left).
