Lawson Creek Trail #1173
This trail ties together the Game Lake Trail #1169 and Pine Grove Trail #1170. There are good views of the Lawson Creek drainage. Small meadows and openings along the trail offer spots for camping. Water is available from some small springs and creeks. Fording Lawson Creek can be difficult and is not recommended until summer.

Directions
From Gold Beach, Oregon, take Highway 101 south to the second Hunter Creek exit. Follow Hunter Creek Road (County Road 635 which turns into Forest Road 3680) for several miles to Forest Road 400 to the trailhead.
