Morgan Nesbit Forest Resiliency Project: 45-day Objection Period to Begin May 7th
BAKER CITY, Ore. (May 7, 2025) — The Wallowa-Whitman National Forest announces the start of the 45-day objection period for the Morgan Nesbit Forest Resiliency project, a landscape scale restoration project proposing forest restoration activities to move forest conditions towards the historic range of variability and desired conditions.
The objection period begins on May 7, 2025 and will be open for 45 days, ending June 20, 2025. Project materials, including the environmental assessment, can be accessed on the project page: https://www.fs.usda.gov/r06/wallowa-whitman/projects/58961 .
