Andrews Cove Campground
Andrews Cove Recreation Area in White County offers a cool mountain stream and a peaceful atmosphere, and is only 15 minutes from the popular alpine village of Helen, Georgia.
Visitors should plan to bring their own potable water for drinking, cooking and other needs when visiting the campground. The Forest Service appreciates the public’s understanding as we continue to provide safe and sustainable recreation opportunities across the forest.

No Drinking Water Available at Andrews Cove Campground
Drinking water is no longer available at Andrews Cove Campground. The campground well system is being decommissioned due to the high cost of maintaining and operating the aging infrastructure.
Visitors should plan to bring their own potable water for drinking, cooking and other needs when visiting the campground. The Forest Service appreciates the public’s understanding as we continue to provide safe and sustainable recreation opportunities across the forest.

Andrew's Cove CG is closed for the winter season and will reopen on March 15.
The maximum length of stay is 14 days. After the camper(s) has accumulated 14 days within any 30-day time period, the camper(s) must leave that area/campground and move from Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest land for 30 days before returning for another stay. No UTV's, ATV's or Golf carts allowed in the campground or on Forest Service Roads.

The America the Beautiful Interagency Senior and Access Passes also the Golden Age and Golden Access Passports are accepted. These passes entitle the pass holder to a 50% discount on camping fees. Please write your pass number on the fee envelope to get credit for this discount.

From Helen, GA, take State Rt. 17/75 north for 5.5 miles to
campground sign. Turn right into campground.
