Appletree Shooting Range
Appletree Shooting Range is located off Appletree Shooting Road (Forest #6152) just east of US 27 in McCreary County. It has two large, sheltered benches with target holders at 25, 50 and 100 yards. Long-rifle loading supports are provided at each bench. The site has designated parking, visitor information and trash collection.

Day use only: open 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Day Use: $5/day; $7/3 day; $50 annual per vehicle.
Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount.
A Daniel Boone National Forest recreation pass (hang tag or sticker) must be displayed inside vehicles parked at the boat ramp. Passes may be purchased from Forest offices or local vendors for $5/day; $7/3 day; $50 annual.
