Recreation Region: Cave Run Lake

Clear Creek Campground

Surrounded by forested hills, Clear Creek Recreation Area is a small, quiet area with a boat ramp onto Clear Creek Lake, a picnic area featuring the remnants of an 1800s-era iron furnace and a twenty-site primitive campground. Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail #100, Clear Creek Lake Trail #103 and Buck Creek Trail #118 are accessible from this area and connect to over 50 miles of trails. Nearby Clear Creek is generally shallow but can run swiftly during rainy seasons. Campsites include tent or RV pads, picnic tables, fire rings and lantern poles. There is no electricity or shower facilities.
