Zilpo National Forest Scenic Byway
Zilpo National Forest Scenic Byway is a gently curving eleven-mile road that takes approximately 20 minutes to travel each way. The route winds through an eastern hardwood forest, which provides scenic overlooks, opportunities to glimpse wildlife and views of Cave Run Lake.

Directions
From Salt Lick, take KY 211 south for 4 miles and turn left onto County Road 129 (Clear Creek Road). After approx. 4 miles, turn left onto Forest Service Road 918. This is the start of Zilpo National Forest Scenic Byway which continues for approx. 8 miles to Zilpo Recreation Area.
