Brick House Campground
This campground is open year-round and provides opportunities for many recreational activities such as wildlife and plant observation, horse riding, mountain bike riding, hiking and photography. Abundant wildlife populations provide some of the most desirable hunting areas in the upstate.

General Information
Horses are allowed in designated area highlined behind white-banded trees around perimeter of campground.
All year
South Carolina fishing and hunting license and regulations apply on all national forest land. The U.S. Forest Service does not issue any licenses or permits for hunting or fishing. Please visit the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources Web site for license and regulations information.
- Stay is limited to 14 days.
- Ensure you have a reservation before arrival.
- Highline horses behind white banded trees.
- Quiet hours are 10pm-6am
- No fireworks.
- Campfires are allowed only in designated fire rings.
- Only dead and down wood may be collected.
- All tents and vehicles must be located on the hardened areas of the campsites.
- Care should be taken in the woods during big-game season. Wear blaze orange.
Camping is $5 per day.
Leashed pets are welcome.

Getting There
Directions
From 1-26 take the Joanna/Whitmire exit (66). Go towards Whitmire about 3.5 miles. Turn right onto Brick House Road (FS Rd 358). Drive 0.3 miles to the campground. You will pass the Buncombe Trailhead on the left before you get to the campground.
