Blue Lake Recreation Area

This is a free day use site that includes areas for picnicking, including grills and picnic tables, fishing, a boat launch for small boats, three campsites, and a 2-mile educational nature trail. A chemical toilet is also located at this site. Campsites are available at Blue Lake Recreation Area by reservation only.

Day use only; no overnight camping allowed

Passes Honored - Access, Senior, and MS Adventure
Passes can only be purchased at National Forests in Mississippi Ranger District Offices.

No fees are required for this site

Day-use: Free
Camping: $7 per night.
Camping for Access or Senior pass holders: $3.50 per night

Directions

From Rolling Fork, take Hwy. 16 east towards Holly Bluff for approximately 7.5 miles. Turn right (south) onto Forest Road 715 for approximately 3.5 miles. Turn left into Blue Lake Recreation Area.
