Chickasaw ATV/Motorcycle Trail

Chickasaw ATV/Motorcycle Trail is a 12-mile trail established for all-terrain vehicles of widths no greater than 48 inches (primarily, four-wheelers and motorcycles). Facilities include parking, a trailhead and a chemical toilet. The degree of difficulty for off-road enthusiasts is easy to moderate.

This is a fee use area and the fee station is located just beyond the entrance gate. No attendant will be on duty. Therefore, users should make sure that they have the correct currency before arriving at the recreation area.

General Information

This trail is located 29 miles south of Tupelo, MS, 14 miles north of Houston, MS, and 1 mile west of Natchez Trace Parkway.

Open seasonally. April 1-November 1.

Off-highway vehicle use: $10 per ATV, per day

Vehicles of widths no greater than 48 inches are allowed on this trail.

Directions

From Tupelo: Drive south 17 miles on the Natchez Trace Parkway to the Davis Lake Recreation Area exit at mile post 243. Turn right on County Road 413 and proceed 1 mile to the entrance of the Chickasaw ATV trailhead.
