Big Piney River Improvement Project
Construction of a new boat launch at both the East Gate and FSR 1730 (Bookers Bend) Recreation sites to replace the native material launches currently in place reducing resource damage and sedimentation while providing access to the Big Piney River.

The East Gate river access is located 0.30 river miles downstream of the East Gate of Fort Leonard Wood and the Bookers Bend river access is approximately 10 river miles further downstream at the end of Forest Road 1730.
