Wind Resource Site Testing
Request for Special Use Permit for installation, operation and removal of two 10-meter tall meteorological towers to gather data on wind resources to explore the possibility of developing a renewable wind energy project.

Both sites are on Baranof Island near the City of Sitka. Site 1 is on the hilltop, west-southwest of Beaver Lake. Site 2 is on the western ridges of Lucky Chance Mountain.
