Orchard Lake Trailhead
The Orchard Lake Trail is 0.8 miles long. The trail follows a short, steep route of approximately 1/2 mile to a junction at a muskeg near the lake. The right fork leads to the outlet of the lake, approximately 1/4 mile away. The left fork continues gaining elevation for 1/2 mile then descends quickly, ending at the Plenty Cutthroat Cabin. The trail is rated as a more difficult trail due to the quick elevation climb, and muddy natural tread.

Directions
Access is by boat or floatplane to Shrimp Bay, located at the head of Gedney Pass on the northwestern side of Revillagigedo Island (47 miles from Ketchikan, 36 miles from Knudson Cove) . The trailhead is located near the southeast shore at the head of Shrimp Bay, 200 feet east of two very scenic waterfalls on Orchard Creek, which drop directly into saltwater. There is a mooring buoy in Klu Bay, a small cove near the trail. Anchorage at the trailhead is poor.
