Practically no seedling establishment, although sufficient seed has been borne by trees in vicinity. At present time a few 1- and 2-year seedlings inside of quadrat. Site is probably too dry. Ground cover largely Sporobolus confusus and Aristida spp., also some Sporobolus interruptus, which is, however, closely cropped. (Repeat of 1913 photo.) See La-88 (1959).See also DJN-44 |
