Comments: Coconino Sample Plot S5; Taken from NE Cor. strip 2, Plot S5I (G). Area not fenced. Note the height growth made by the four seedlings shown in original photo. One has had top girdled by porcupines, but new leader has started. Note also the two stunted seedlings in front of the oak saplings. Brush pile shown in original photo has been completely broken down by trampling of cattle. Area is heavily grazed and pretty well denuded. (Repeat of 1913 photo.)See also DJN-66
