Comments: Taken from a point located North 15 degrees East 5.28 chains from corner F4 of Plot S5I(F) and looking South 28 degrees west, showing view of north slope of Group-Selection cutting area. The chief point of interest is the excellent growth made by the Gambel oak sprouts (where man stands). These sprouts are from stump of old tree cut in 1913. They are now 3 to 4 inches in diameter and about 20' tall. See La-95 (1959).
