Comments: Blue spruce planted at same time as No. 223005 but watered. Now 4 to 6 feet tall. The Douglas-fir beside the yard stick has been frozen back repeatedly. Both species are 9 years old. Leader on spruce supported by stick to prevent bending over when wilted during hot part of day.
